An excellent opportunity has arisen from the recent expansion of leading independent garage, Philips Garage Limited, located in the City Centre of Glasgow. We are looking for an experienced & motivated Automotive Technician to work within our busy organisation. The position is part time with the opportunity of progressing to full time.

The role will require a focused individual that understands the demand for quality workmanship at all times. The ideal person for this position will;

​

(i) Possess experience within a reputable independent garage or dealership.

​

(ii) Possess appropriate automotive accreditations of a City & Guilds or SVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics and/or appropriate brand retailer attained qualifications.

​

(iii) Being an MOT Tester would be an advantage, it is preferred but not essential.

​

(iv) Be dynamic, flexible & enjoy working within a team environment.

​

(v) Posses an eye for detail, have strong mechanical & technical knowledge, experience in fault finding & the ability to carry out both service & diagnostic tasks.
